Cut the Costs Lyrics

(Dickie Peterson & Dieter Saller)
Ooooh I wanna cut my losses.Understand that boy
When pickin' the round
Make that sure
Oh, what you lay it down.Cause I lost at love
I lost at friends
I hope you're gone
Won't see it again.Oooohh, cause I cut the costs.Sometimes my heart beats so fast
I don't believe I can last.Cause I lost at love
And I lost at friends
I hope you're gone
Won't see it again.Oooohh, cause I cut the costs.Ooooooaah yeah, oh!Sometimes I wish
That my heart would stop
Set me free
Take my loss.I lost at love
And I lost at friends
I hope you're gone
Won't see this again.Cause I cut the costs

I cut the costs
Oh, cut the costs
I cut the costs
Oh, cut my loss
Yeah, cut the costs.

Blue Cheer is an American blues rock group of the late 1960s and early 1970s, who helped to pioneer heavy metal music. Based in San Francisco, original personnel were singer/bassist Dickie Peterson, guitarist Leigh Stephens, and drummer Paul Whaley. A power trio, the band was named after a variety of LSD promoted by underground chemist and Grateful Dead backer Owsley Stanley. This variety of LSD took its name from a popular laundry detergent. Their first hit was a cover version of Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues" from their debut album Vincebus Eruptum (1968).
