Cycles Lyrics

Take me down to the floor
Shake me down to the core
make me chomp at the bit
Watch me crawl and plead and fit
All the while you're in control
Seeing right into my soul
Like a child I curl and cry
For the flesh I'll taste tonightTurn the screw hear the cream
Something juicy in between
Dripping, drenching, pouring out
Who is master there's no doubt
With each scar I know my place
Marks of pleasure can't erase
Smell the musk thick in the room
Warning all impending doomYou make me beg
You make me plead
You make me burn
(Make me bleed)

When I am torn, you lick my wounds
Then I return...Turn the table time to feed
Time for you to beg and plead
With each thrust I spill out life
Draining out from deep inside
Body bursting to errupt
From your cup that I now sup
Ever flowing ecstasy
In your knees it's time to feedYou make me beg
You make me plead
You make me burn
(Make me bleed)
When I am torn, you lick my wounds
Then I return...

The music of RAINOVER consists of grey, intense, and emotional dream-rock with a modern approach to both composition and sound and still with a dark edge: a story of constant research and renewal through life, of cycling movements that are at the very core of the universe and each one of us, connected as a whole, just like the rain as it falls down and dies, to ascend again.

The band was firstly founded in 2003 under the name "Remembrances", coming from Murcia, Spain. In April 2011, after having edited an album called “Crystal Tears” and offered plenty of shows, four of its members decided to part ways with their previous singer and give a new name to the band, keeping the musical direction and the work done until then.
Following an intense research, in May 2011 Andrea Casanova was selected to join the band as the new vocalist; a new voice and character that blends perfectly with the more direct and energetic style of their new musical era.
With a solid line up, RAINOVER made their way to Prato, Italy, in August 2011 for the recordings of their new album, at MathLab Recording Studios, under the production of Carlo Bellotti for Wormholedeath and Jonathan Mazzeo, with the latter also working as sound and mixing engineer.

The new album, which is titled “Transcending the blue and drifting into rebirth” and consists of 11 songs, has been mastered by Dennis Koehne and Waldemar Sorychta (Tristania, Lacuna Coil,The Gathering, Moonspell, Samael, Therion and many others) for Waldstreet and Denroad at Flying Pigs Studio, in Schwerte, Germany, and graced by the artwork of graphic artist Mario Sánchez Nevado (Aégis). Later this year, the album is finally being published and distributed worldwide by the Italian label Wormholedeath/Aural Music.

It is remarkable that the band has until now hit different stages all around the Spanish geography, like the ones at the Mediatic Festival 2008 (The Waterboys, Fangoria, Los Suaves, Loquillo, Saratoga, Savia…) or the International Villa de Bilbao 2008 Fest, having shared stage with well known bands such as Kells, To-Mera, Regardless of Me, Ebony Ark, Embellish or Níobeth, and making an extraordinary appearance in the Spanish Television shows as semifinalists for the Eurovision Festival 2009 after receiving more than 31.000 votes via internet.

The band is now in the preproduction process of their new videoclip and the rehearsals for a tour to present their new album. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
