Cynic Lyrics

Yeah, I made a promise to love myself
But somehow I dont think Im gonna make it
Yeah, is that me behind the screen?
I see some shapes but I cant see any facesAn ego might not be so bad, it could be something I should have
I cant make my mind up, help me with this while I grip this
I made a promise to myself but I think I'll need some help
If you see something that is good in me, wont you tell me?
And maybe Id be something you could standYeah, I made a promise to love myself
I think this could be good for you as well as me
Yeah, I know Im not that much fun
The joke I have become doesn't make you laughAn ego might not be so bad, it could be something I should have
I cant make my mind up, help me with this while I grip this
I made a promise to myself but I think I'll need some help
If you see something that is good in me, wont you tell me?
And maybe Id be something you could standHere comes the doubt again, here comes the doubt again
Here comes the doubt again, here comes the doubt
Here comes the doubt again, here comes the doubt again
Here comes the doubt again, here comes the doubt

Here comes the doubt, here comes the doubt
Here comes the doubt, here comes the doubtAn ego might not be so bad, it could be something I should have
I cant make my mind up, help me with this while I grip this
I made a promise to myself but I think I'll need some help
If you see something that is good in me, wont you tell me?An ego might not be so bad, it could be something I should have
I cant make my mind up, help me with this while I grip this
I made a promise to myself but I think I'll need some help
If you see something that is good in me, wont you tell me?
And maybe Id be something you could stand

Kashmir are a Danish rock band formed 1991 in Frederiksberg, Denmark. Originally called Nirvana, the band quickly changed its name to Kashmir due to the Seattle based grungeband of the same name, breaking through at the time. The name derived from the Led Zeppelin song Kashmir, since this was the only song all band members could agree upon, since their various musical tastes were diverse.
The band consists of the members:
Kasper Eistrup (vocals & guitar)
Mads Tunebjerg (bass)
Asger Techau (drums)
