Damages Lyrics

(verse 1)
I really think that you must be out your mind
or forgot to tell time
judgin by how late you came in
Well today i woke up on the wrong side
You should check the curbside
you'll see that i cleaned out your closet(close)
Seems like you wanna go
So Ima let you go
So let me help you out and, I'll walk you to the door
You should of left a long time ago
Its not to late for me to start all over
(bridge)
No more tryin to fix whats unfixable
No need to try and cure the impossible
So do what you want to
You can choose who you want to
If you tried to lose me didnt work cuz

The damage is done
(chorus)x4
The damage the damage the
The damage is done (damage is done)
(verse 2)
Bet you thought that when you left that i cried
Truth is baby im fine
Happy that i got rid of you
Go ahead and leave the keys to my ride
Cab is waitin outside
Once again im way ahead of you
I know you wanna go
So ima let you go
I'll do just fine without ya
Already movin on
I should of left a long time ago
But its not to late to start all over
(bridge)
No more tryin to fix whats unfixable(No,no there no more cryin)
No need to try and cure the impossible
So do what you want to
Free to choose who you want to
If you tried to lose me didnt work cuz
the damage is done
(chorus)x8
The damage the damage the
The damage is done (damage is done)
(bridge)
No more tryin to fix whats unfixable
No need to try and cure the impossible
So do what you want to
You can choose who you want to
If you tried to lose me didnt work cuz
the damage is done
(chorus)
The damage the damage the
The damage is done (damage is done)
The damage the damage the
The damage is done (damage is done)
The damage the damage the
The damage is done (and i wont cry no)(damage is done)
The damage the damage the(my life is better now that your gone)
The damage is done

The Dada Weatherman is Jonathan's folk project, a young songwriter (20) from France, trained piano player but guitar player in the soul (from his own confession). At the age of 8, he plays his first notes on a toy piano. in 2002, he learns how to play guitar with the classical Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Then, he decided to write his own material after he discovered conor oberst's bright eyes Fever & Mirrors. He composed lots of songs in 2004, and the band that would become The Dada Weatherman is formed under the moniker Lost-Minded.
