Darling I Love You Lyrics

[Spoken]
But she said there ain't no jive when you apologiseHoney I love you darling
I apologise[Sung]
I did you wrong
Broke your heart and made you cry again
Well
And ever since that day you said goodbye
You made me realise
Darling I love you
I love you
I love youSince you've been gone
I can feel the want closing in on me
I just ain't gonna fill with this misery
Darling come back
Darling I love you
I love you
I love youI'm in a nightmare, can't get my head right
Darling I miss you so

The sun is shining but for me in this light
You didn't really have to go
No, you didn't really have to go
You didn't really have to goCome on, come on, come on
Your picture on the wall is of you getting next to me
I'd write a letter but the tears, won't let me see
Darling I realise
Darling I love you
I love you
I love youI don't mind telling you one more time honey
I won't want you to know its coming from T baby
Woah, I want you to know how much i love you, want you and need you all of the time baby[Fading]
Woah,
Oh darling baby
Three little words
I know you hear me

Johnnie Harrison Taylor (born May 5, 1937, Crawfordsville, Arkansas; died May 31, 2000, Dallas, Texas) was an American musician that sang in a wide variety of genres, including blues, disco, gospel, pop, and soul. Often using an energetic, belting delivery, he's perhaps best known for his work for the iconic Stax/Volt label, particularly with southern soul classics such as "Who's Making Love" and "Jody's Got Your Girl and Gone" in which he held his own against friendly rivals such as Otis Redding and Sam & Dave.
