Wolf Down (often typeset as WOLF DOWN, WOLFXDOWN or WOLF X DOWN) are a German straight-edge hardcore band based out of the Ruhr in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. After the demise of Sink or Swim, former vocalist Larissa, guitarist Sven and former bassist Merlin formed Wolf Down in April of 2011. Their debut release was a four-track seven-inch, entitled MMXI, which was released in August of 2011. A follow-up four-track release, entitled Renegades, was released in June of 2012. The band released their debut album, Stray From the Path, in July 2013. Common lyrical issues for the band include racism, sexism, homophobia, veganism and the straight-edge lifestyle.
