Deep In The West (noisy3D-EX1)_Sb-02 Lyrics

(with Jessi Colder)Deep in the west where the tall mountains grow I've gone home
Where the heavens above turn red from the fire down below
Are you listening to me when I'm talking to you
Said together we're one divided we're through
Divided we're throughSilver friend at night yellow friend you come with the dawn
Back in my heart I've been drying my eyes see me run
So you hang on to me and I'll hang on to you
Said together we're one divided we're through
Divided we're through
(steel)
Refusing to talk I suppose that it's all for love's sake
And learning to give that's important before you can take from me
Are you listening to me when I'm talking to you
Said together we're one divided we're through
So you hang on to me and I'll hang on to you
Said together we're one divided we're through
Divided we're through

Waylon Arnold Jennings (June 15, 1937 – February 13, 2002) was an influential American country music singer and musician. A self-taught guitar player, he rose to prominence as a bass player for Buddy Holly following the break-up of The Crickets. He escaped death in the February 3, 1959 plane crash that took the lives of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson when he gave up his seat to the latter.[1] By the 1970s, he had become associated with so-called "outlaws," an informal group of musicians who worked outside of the Nashville corporate scene.
