Cosmic Sherpas is a small collective of artists in Atlanta, Georgia, started by Micah and Elyse McCool in 2011. It welcomes all kinds of musicians to collaborate project by project. Working out of a small home recording studio, they seek to push the edge of the creative mainstream and explore many instruments, styles and themes, stretching its listeners ears across genres. Cosmic Sherpas love honest feedback and ideas from all. So far, they have delved into rock, alternative, jazz, world, reggae, acoustic, jam, Spanish guitar, psychedelic, dance, techno, electronica, abstract, folk, meditation, ethereal, Tibetan, chant, spoken word, spacey, dreamy, Appalachian, funk, aboriginal, western, tribal, soundtrack and Midwestern.
