Departure Lyrics

We part for ever from today
Farewell beloved one
And I unto may death your way
Will shunI care not now where you may go
You can no more bereave me
Today the sweetest girl I know
Does leave meWhen the air still moves my curtain
As it used in times of yore
Moonlight down the lane just uncertain
Only you come nevermore, come nevermore, come
Only you come nevermore, comeNor shall I as in former years
Build Spanish castles so high
With starlit windows and with towers that reach the skyWhen, shivering with bitter cold
Through winter nights uncertain
I watched lest you perhaps unfold
Your curtainOhh, what delight to stroll with you
Beneath that flowering trees
When poured its light their branches through

The moonWhen the air still moves my curtain
As it used in times of yore
Moonlight down the lane just uncertain
Only you come nevermore, come nevermore, come
Only you come nevermore, comeThat I might catch with rapturous thrill
The words that you let fall
And that today I barely still
I barely still recallHow often did I secretly pray
Swift night her sails would furl
That we might thus forever stray
Fair girlWhen the air still moves my curtain
As it used in times of yore
Moonlight down the lane just uncertain
Only you come nevermore, come nevermore, come
Only you come nevermore, come

Agathodaimon is a melodic black metal band from Germany - formed in 1995. They have ever since been credible for parts of the underground Gothic movement in Germany along with bands such as Ancient Ceremony and Dorn. They have a strong influence from Dark Wave piano and a finesse of superior double bass accenting, utilization of variational power chord mixtures between two guitars, Gothic-influenced female vocals and evil, ghost whispers from Sathonys. In the long run, they are a very known for their over-all band achievements and fade away from the "one-man" approach.
