Desire Lyrics

Desire, where are you when I need you most?
Can't you tell the way I long for you?
I think it's unfairly wrong of you teasing me like you do, baby
Could it be you do it just for fun when you know I am the only one?
'Cause you know you are the only one IDesire
(Ooh, you make me)
Desire
(In the morning I)
Desire
(You, baby)
Desire
(Make me desire you, you, you, you)Desire, please tell me why must you make me beg?
Desire please stop running through my head
Is it that you love to play cat and mouse?
Give me a clue what to do, help me outPerhaps I'm your subject or just your muse
It feels so damn good to be used
When you know I am the only oneDesire
(Oh, I desire you)

Desire
(I can't help the way I desire you)Desire
(Oh)
Desire
(I can't sleep at night, at night)Desire
(I wanna, I wanna touch you with)
Desire
(Desire you)Desire
(Passionately with desire)
Desire
(I wanna kiss you with every)Every, every part of me wants every part of you, I desire you
(Yeah)
I desire you, I desire you
(I desire you)
I desire you, I desire you
(If there ever was a time, baby)
(Desire you, I would say the time is now)I desire you, I desire you
(Come to me, ooh)
(It's urgent, can't you, can't you hear it in my voice)
(How I desire you?)Desire
Desire
DesireDon't take too long
Don't take too long
Please come to me
I want youDesire
Desire

Raheem DeVaughn's debut album was "The Love Experience;" his critically acclaimed follow-up was "Love Behind The Melody."

DeVaughn's musical story began with his mother's vinyl collection. "I always loved music so I would sneak into her record collection when she wasn't around and play her stuff." DeVaughn's father, noted jazz musician Abdul Wadud was also an influence. DeVaughn knew at an early age that he would become an entertainer.

DeVaughn graduated from High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland; then headed to nearby Coppin State. It was the first day of college that changed the course of his life. "I saw a group of guys standing outside singing, Boyz II Men style," remembers DeVaughn. "I just went up there and started harmonizing with them. Before I knew what was going on, I was in a group, cutting class to write lyrics and record." After winning $2,000.00 in a talent show at Bar None, a Washington D.C. nightclub, DeVaughn decided to go for broke and invested all of his winnings into a CD burner. Several independent releases led to a showcase with [album]Jive Records[/album], and the career was on it's way.
