Dirt Road Blues Lyrics

Gon' walk down that dirt road, 'til someone lets me ride
Gon' walk down that dirt road, 'til someone lets me ride
If I can't find my baby, I'm gonna run away and hideWell I been pacing around the room hoping maybe she'd come back
Pacing 'round the room hoping maybe she'd come back
Well, I been praying for salvation laying 'round in a one room country shackGon' walk down that dirt road until my eyes begin to bleed
Gon' walk down that dirt road until my eyes begin to bleed
'Til there's nothing left to see, 'til the chains have been shattered
And I've been freedI been lookin' at my shadow, I been watching the colors up above
Lookin' at my shadow watching the colors up above
Rolling through the rain and hail, looking for the sunny side of loveGon' walk on that dirt road 'til everything becomes the same
Gon' walk down that dirt road 'til everything becomes the same
I'll keep on walkin' 'til I hear her holler out my name

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Far from the city lights and flashy glam rock bands, lies the gritty soulful power-trio from the backwoods of rural Alabama a “Southern rock group hailing from Birmingham, may be the Heart of Dixie’s next big hope:” BEITTHEMEANS. The current BEITTHEMEANS lineup, Josh Jones (guitar, vocals), Casey Wilson (bass) and Nathan Kelley (drums), began writing and compiling material in fall 2006 in the woodshed for what became their new sophomore full-length album and best effort to date, “Crude Alabama Storytellers” self-released in August 2008.
