Qlimax is the event of the year in Holland. It is considered to be one of the leading hardstyle events on the calendar and a major attraction of Q-Dance, the Dutch entertainment enterprise responsible for its existence. At the beginning, 2002, it was held several times throughout the year and hosted in various venues, such as
SilverDome, Heineken Music Hall and Beursgebouw, but it has made its home at the Gelredome in Arnhem. Since 2004 it was changed to be held annually in the third or fourth week of November.
