Don't Close Your Eyes Lyrics

You say you like the rain,
When it's pouring down outside
the window as you lay
And even though now's not the time,
I can't wait a minute longer
I just gotta see you tonight. And I say "Don't close your eyes, don't close your eyes"It's bigger than you, bigger than me,
bigger than something we can see
and I don't want to let it go yet, don't let it go,
It's better we go, better we leave
Better we get out before we see,
the world won't wait for you baby. You know I miss the way
your lips taste like vanilla,
almost every single day
And you go and leave me all untwined
My head just won't stop spinning,
Running circles in my mindAnd I say "Don't close your eyes, don't close your eyes"It's bigger than you, bigger than me,
bigger than something we can see
and I don't want to let it go yet, don't let it go,

It's better we go, better we leave
Better we get out before we see,
the world won't wait for you baby,
for you baby.A phone call away
I won't let myself fall
again I won't try.
(do do do do do)
If all ends tonight,
Just promise you won't ever close your eyes.
Now promise you won't ever close your,
promise you won't ever close your eyes.Cuz I won't let you because I don't know how,
and I won't let you unless I come along too. It's bigger than you, bigger than me,
bigger than something we can see
and I don't want to let it go yet, don't let it go,
It's better we go, better we leave
Better we get out before we see,
the world won't wait for you babyDon't close your eyes,
don't close your eyes
(do do do do do do do)
don't close your eyes,
don't close your eyes.
