Don't Let Me Down Lyrics

Rolling down the hill
To see my friends, I don't feel well
And I'm not happy but I'm going to be
Summer starts and summer ends
I look around at all my friends
And they don't seem happy but they're going to be
they say that life's a dream
We believe what we want to believe
And we want to believe
In something please
[Chorus]
So don't let me down
Please place me gently on the ground
Took all this time to figure out
What I need and the journey made me bleed
Don't let me down, this time don't let me down

Don't let me down, this time don't let me down
I needed more, so I thought,
I needed a love that couldn't be bought
But I kept on spending till he loved me not
Now someone new is coming in
Oh god, it's so sweet when it begins
But I'm so bitter, what if I poison him
And he says that I'm the dream
He's been praying for down on his knees
I want to believe him
Oh please believe
chorus
And I feel like I'm running, don't let me down
'Cause I feel like its coming, this time don't let me down
Yeah I feel like its coming, this time don't let me down
Oh please don't let me down
All this time to figure out
What I need
And the journey made me bleed
[Chorus]
