Don't Look Back Lyrics

I never knew what it meant to me
'Til someone just took the best of me
If it's some kind of conspiracy
Then no one gets to the rest of meI'm turning over leaves, I'm holding up my head
I'm healing over hurt and learning to forgetI said, "Don't look back, let it fade and let it go
Don't look back, let it fade and let it go"You make your way in a crazy world
Get all mixed up by a crazy girl
When all you want is some honesty
But then all she gives you is sympathyI'm opening new new doors, I'm clearing out the shelf
I'm loosening away my act and laughing to myselfI said, "Don't look back, let it fade and let it go
Don't look back, let it fade and let it go"Don't be afraid of the choices you've made
Try not to give any quarter, there's no more to say
I'm walking away and I'll never look backI said, "Don't look back, let it fade and let it go
Don't look back, let it fade and let it go"
I said, "Don't look back, let it fade and let it go
Don't look back"Let it go, let it go

Vocalist Nick Van Eede founded the group along with Canadian guitarist Kevin Scott MacMichael in 1985, and made demos that led to a recording contract, before bassist Colin Farley and drummer Martin Beadle joined in 1986. Their first album, Broadcast, released in 1986, was the first U.S. number one album for Richard Branson's Virgin Records. It included "(I Just) Died in Your Arms", their most popular single, which reached number one in the U.S.
