Fear Of Falling Lyrics

Midnight, feels like it's shining on me
Moonlight, taxis rollin' from the sea
Shots in the dark, slaves to the big city beatHeroes, toasted and sent to the wall
Zeros, bleed you and laugh in your face
My kind of town, anywhere else but this place
But who can walk on the waterI can help this fear of falling
I can help this fear of letting go
I can help this fear of falling
I can help this fear of letting goHold on, check out and check out the fools
Don't you forget the, the golden rule, don't let them win
Start making plans of your own
'Cause you can get what you wantedI can help this fear of falling
I can help this fear of letting go
I can help this fear of falling
I can help this fear of letting goI can help this fear of falling
I can help this fear of letting go
I can help this fear of falling
I can help this fear of letting goI can help this fear of falling

I can help this fear of letting go
I can help this fear of falling
I can help this fear of letting goI can help this fear of falling
I can help this fear of letting go

Vocalist Nick Van Eede founded the group along with Canadian guitarist Kevin Scott MacMichael in 1985, and made demos that led to a recording contract, before bassist Colin Farley and drummer Martin Beadle joined in 1986. Their first album, Broadcast, released in 1986, was the first U.S. number one album for Richard Branson's Virgin Records. It included "(I Just) Died in Your Arms", their most popular single, which reached number one in the U.S.
