Don't Turn Around Lyrics

Don''t look around
As you walk away
Don''t look around
Think what the people might say-ay
If you turn around it wouldn''t be good
Folks would say she only did what she should
Don''t turn around
Don''t turn around
Don''t look at me
As you pass me by
Don''t look at me
Or-or we may start to cry-y
Don''t look at me, oh-oh-no
A heart can''t stand to see you go
Don''t turn around

Don''t turn around
Time after time I have waited
To see you give one little smi-i-ile
And now through a tear things are hazy
I''m so sad all the whi-ile
Don''t pity me
As I fade form view
Don''t pity me
For-or you''ll find somebody new-ew
Don''t pity me, oh-oh-no
Too bad, I loved you so-o-o-o
Don''t turn around
Son''t turn around
Don''t pity me oh-oh-no
Too bad, I loved you so-o-o-o
Don''t turn around
Don''t turn around

Originally called The Mavericks, Tony Crane (born Anthony Crane, 17 April 1945, in Anfield, Liverpool) and Billy Kinsley (born William Ellis Kinsley, 28 November 1946, at The Mill Road Hospital, Mill Road, Anfield, Liverpool) formed their first band in late 1960 and became The Pacifics in September 1961. They were re-named The Mersey Beats in February 1962 by Bob Wooler, MC of the famous Cavern Club. Later in April 1962 they became The Merseybeats. By now Crane and Kinsley had joined up with guitarist Aaron Williams (born 23 June 1942, in Liverpool) and drummer John Banks.
