Don't you just know it
(Huey "piano" Smith, Cotillion Music/Ace Records)
Dr. FeelgoodI can't lose with the stuff I use (Don't you just know it)
Baby don't believe I wear 2 left shoes (Don't you just know it)
Chorus: Ah ha ha ha (Ah ha ha ha)
ey-eh-oh (ey-eh-oh)
Gooba-gooba-gooba-gooba (gooba-gooba-gooba-gooba)
Ah ha ha ha (Ah ha ha ha)
Ah ha ha ha (Ah ha ha ha)
ey-eh-oh (ey-eh-oh)
Hey pretty baby can we go strollin (Don't you just know it)
You got me rockin when I wanna be rollin (Don't you just know it)
Chorus: Ah ha ha ha ...
Baby baby you're my blue heaven (Don't you just know it)
You got me pushin when I wanna be shoving (Don't you just know it)
Chorus: Ah ha ha ha...
Chorus: Ah ha ha ha... (Percussion only)
Accordion break (twice)

The older the woman the more she teases (Don't you just know it)
The younger the woman the tighter she squeezes (Don't you just know it)
Chorus: Ah ha ha ha...
Chorus: Ah ha ha ha...

Dr. Feelgood are a British pub rock band, formed in 1971. The classic line-up included Lee Brilleaux (b. 1953, d. 7 April 1994; vocals/harmonica), Wilko Johnson (b. John Wilkinson, 1947; guitar), John B. Sparks (b. 1953; bass) and John 'The Big Figure' Martin (drums). Initially based in Canvey Island, Essex, on the Thames estuary, Dr. Feelgood broke into the London circuit in 1974. Brilleaux's menacing personality complemented Johnson's propulsive, jerky stage manner, while the guitarist's staccato style dominated the group's idiosyncratic brand of angular rhythm and blues.
