Drilling the Void Lyrics

Same story, familiar territory
Same story, familiar territoryThe lunacy in the fight
The frail and meek and there plight
But surrender they might
If they get infectedAggressive actions will fail
Corrective measures on sale
Devout lies dissect our criesSo many different people
Living other people's lives
Remember all the glory
You've mistaken all the signsThe pressure builds from within
The hidden truth in the sin
What lies under the skin
When they get infectedNow we're drilling the voids
The covert puppets and toys
Devout lies dissect our criesSo many different people
Living other people's lives
Remember all the glory
You've mistaken all the signsSo many different stories

Become other people's crimes
The consequence of the timesSame story, familiar territory
Same story, familiar territory
Same story, familiar territory
All searching for a new found glorySame story, familiar territory
All searching for a new found glory
All searching for a new found glory
All searching for a new found glorySame story, familiar territory
All searching for a new found glorySo many different people
Living other people's lives
Remember all the glory
You've mistaken all the signsSo many different stories
Become other people's crimes
The consequence of the times

Superheist is an Australian nu metal band, formed in 1993 in Melbourne by guitarist DW Norton. An early line-up featuring Norton, Rod McLeod (vocals), Anthony Donath (bass) and Sean Pentecost (drums) started out playing grindcore along similar lines to Napalm Death but by 1996 Superheist was established as one of Australia's first successful nu-metal bands. The band's two full length albums, The Prize Recruit (2001) and Identical Remote Controlled Reactions (2002) charted in the Top 20 on the Australian Albums Charts.
