Drive Away Lyrics

I bet you want to know who's coming
Coming to the party tonight.
My friends are drinking satisfaction
I've been mixing tonic and spite.
Stop now you've gotta move on.
Somehow she took you like a pawn.
Stop now you've gotta move on
And win this endless game.
And drive away. (hey)
I can't get myself to drive away. (hey)
Spilling oil down my escape.
You were over me in no time.
You can close that door
You can close that door but I can't drive away.
Sunset a bonafide disaster
Hiding in deceit of my fear.
My friends I know they tried to tell me
But I was too stubborn to hear.

Stop now you're not gonna save her.
Somehow she'll lead you into danger.
Stop now you're not gonna save her
And win this endless game.
And drive away. (hey)
I can't get myself to drive away. (hey)
Spilling oil down my escape.
You were over me in no time.
You can close that door
You can close that door but I can't drive away.
And drive away. (hey)
I can't get myself to drive away. (drive away)
And drive away. (hey)
I can't get myself to drive away. (hey)
Spilling oil down my escape.
You were over me in no time.
You can close that door
You can close that door but I can't drive away.
