Drivin' Wheel Lyrics

(sykes)
(prestige music ltd.)My baby don't have to work
She don't have to rob and steal
My baby don't have to work
She don't have to rob and stealI'll give my baby everything that she want's
I'm a - I'm a - I'm a - I'm a - I'm a
I'm a drivin' wheelI'm a drivin' wheelWell she left me early this morning
She said she would be back soon
She left me early this morning
She said she would be back soonShe said she'd be back early by the morning
Now it's late late late late late on a saturday afternoon
A saturday afternoon- guitar break -Well I wrote my baby a letter
I don't want nobody to break the seal
I wrote my baby a letter
I don't want nobody to break the sealI want this letter to go straight to my baby
I'm a - I'm a - I'm a - I'm a
I'm a drivin' wheelI'm a drivin' wheel
I'm a drivin' wheel

I'm a drivin' wheel

Dr. Feelgood are a British pub rock band, formed in 1971. The classic line-up included Lee Brilleaux (b. 1953, d. 7 April 1994; vocals/harmonica), Wilko Johnson (b. John Wilkinson, 1947; guitar), John B. Sparks (b. 1953; bass) and John 'The Big Figure' Martin (drums). Initially based in Canvey Island, Essex, on the Thames estuary, Dr. Feelgood broke into the London circuit in 1974. Brilleaux's menacing personality complemented Johnson's propulsive, jerky stage manner, while the guitarist's staccato style dominated the group's idiosyncratic brand of angular rhythm and blues.
