Drops - Federico Missio

Italian saxophone player, improviser, composer and arranger (Udine, 1975). He studied with the canadian saxophonist Robert Bonisolo and attended the KarntnerLandesKonservatorium in Klagenfurt (Austria). He was among the finalists of the national contest “C. Bettinardi: Nuovi Talenti del Jazz Italiano” 2005 (New Talented Jazz Musicians in Italy)and won the national contest “Premio Jazz Lighthouse: Giovane in Jazz” 2006 (Lighthouse Jazz Award: Youth in Jazz” 2006. On december 2008 Italian Jazz Label Caligola published his first CD as a leader "4+1" featuring the well known italian drummer Massimo Manzi, Paolo Corsini on the piano, Alessandro Turchet on the bass and Maurizio Cepparo on the trombone.
