Each Time Lyrics

Have you heard of the saying for those who are playing?
You don't know what you've got till it's gone
Well, that was my calling and I knew I was falling
Into something that would be so wrongBut I gotta hold of myself and changed for the better
I can't get you out of my mind 'cause something inside
Made me realize you were farEach time that we're alone
I guess I didn't know
How far we were apart
Should have spoken to my heartI guess I didn't know that
Each time you go away I cry
I can't take all these goodbyesI know from this feeling deep inside there's a healing
I know that I'm in control, every day I am yearning
This love, I feel burning, burning right through my soulSo let's make a start of something that cannot be broken
The mold is so strong treat this love as a child
That grows into something worthwhileEach time that we're alone
I guess I didn't know
How far we were apart
Should have spoken to my heartI guess I didn't know that

Each time you go away I cry
I can't take all these good-byesDeep, love so deep
Deep, love so deep yeah
I can't take all these goodbyesFaithfully I will be you will see
Please believe me
I can't take all these good-byesEach time that we're alone
I guess I didn't know
How far we were apart
Should have spoken to my heartI guess I didn't know that
Each time you go away I cry
I can't take all these goodbyesAll the time we were alone
Guess I should have really known
Baby, you have always been mine
(I guess I didn't know)All the time we were alone
Guess I should have really known
Baby, you have always been mineEach time that we're alone
How far we were apart
I guess I didn't know

When East 17 stumbled into the Walthamstow, England limelight in late 1991 they had little idea that their rabble-rousing brand of boy-band pop would create such a storm. Indeed, at the outset, a young Tony Mortimer had been on the verge of signing a solo deal with London Records until ex-Pet Shop Boys manager Tom Watkins suggested that what the world needed was a boy-band antidote to Take That and a band that bad girls could fall in love with.
