Ear Drums Pop Lyrics

Watch your eardrums pop
Watch your eardrums pop
Watch your eardrums popI got 61 keys with delays
Im overly blown, but never thrown into the maze
With no amp, I found my way out the first time round
Then never went back without my bloodhoundI vow to hit the beat right
The crowd light 'em up, so I dont see night
Mark the spot with the X, people in debt
Make promises with beats on discettes
(Yo, you feelin' him yet? )Then make some noise with your voice box
One word, four syllables, unorthodox
Describes my style best, I attack, never rest
'Cause in my sleep, a metronome click beats on my chestTill I wake, shit, automate my mix
Total control of where my highs and kicks should fit
You dont stop till executed the plot
While Babs sets up shop to make your
(Eardrums pop)Watch your eardrums pop
Watch your eardrums pop

Watch your eardrums popThe DJ's in effect, keep holdin' it down
Dilated, were correctly holdin' the crown
Plus we keep a set of keys to that golden sound
Its that shit you bump loud when you roll in the townIts the art of showdowns, Im quick to show clowns
I bring it like, sucker, wheres your threshold now?
His life under pressure in the eye of the storm
To find the root I take it to the hive of the swarmI execute like grandmaster Roc Raida
Congratulations, brother, you swingin' a hot fader
From L.A., I spit rocks sedated that leave craters
Some are less than, some equal, but none greaterDuck, you Gunplay, Im lovin' the Sunrays
Used to party Friday, Saturday, and pray on Sunday
But I figured out in life that theres more than one way
Thats why Im doin' things I always knew Id do one dayIve seen many lands and tasted the best crop
I witnessed many cultures express through Hip-hop
Im buildin' with that science that De La dropped
That means it might blow up, but it wont go popWatch your eardrums pop
Watch your eardrums pop
Watch your eardrums pop

Dilated Peoples is a hip-hop group that has achieved great fame in the underground hip-hop community, although their only real mainstream success was the song This Way, a 2004 collaboration with Kanye West.

DJ Babu (from the DJ crew Beat Junkies), Evidence, and Rakaa joined together in 1992 in Los Angeles, CA and released Third Degree and Work The Angles, which were quickly established as favorites in the underground scene and among rap critics. They eventually signed to Capitol and in 2000 released The Platform, to more critical acclaim. Their sophomore set Expansion Team was released in 2001, led by the Alchemist-produced single Worst Comes To Worst, which sampled from Mobb Deep's Survival Of The Fittest. Their third album, Neighborhood Watch, was released in 2004 and debuted at #55 on USA's Billboard 200 Albums Chart. In addition to the Kanye West-produced single, This Way, it also featured the single Who's Who?, which was also included as a track on the Need for Speed: Underground and SSX 3 soundtracks, and peaked at #35 on the UK Singles Chart.

In 2006, they returned with the single Back Again, produced by The Alchemist. The trio's fourth album, 20/20, debuted on February 21, 2006.

In 2007 they released The Release Party. This package included a feature-length documentary on DVD as well as EP featuring new songs and remixes. The film, released through Decon, is a celebration of the release from their contract with Capital.
