Eating a Book Lyrics

There's a monster in my room, we discussed movies over coffee
And I think it's quite absurd, well, he got hungry, licked his lips
He shook my hand and tried to eat me and it's getting on my nervesDon't you think it's strange that I've been reading
(Still I don't know how to kill you)
I'm trying hard not to meet you when I am sleeping
(Still I don't know how to kill you)
Still I don't know how to kill youI've got tickets to a show that I know no one will be attending
And I think that you should go, well, I don't mind your complexion
Or even the fact that you are bleeding, it's just the way that it goesDon't you think it's strange that I've been reading
(Still I don't know how to kill you)
I'm trying hard not to meet you when I am sleeping
(Still I don't know how to kill you)
Still I don't know how to kill youAnd I don't mind the shape that your head is in
And I don't mind the shape that your head's inI want to see you explode, want to see you explode
I want to see you explode, want to see you explode
I want to see you explode, I want to see you explode
I want to see you explode, I want to see you explodeI want to see you explode, I want to see you explode
I want to see you explode, I want to see you explode

I want to see you, I've gotta watch you explode
I've gotta watch you, see you explode, want to see you explodeI've gotta watch you explode, I've gotta watch you explode
I've gotta watch you explode, watch you explode, watch you explode
Watch you explode, watch you explode, baby

When He Is Legend signed to Solid State Records, the band had already stirred a blaring buzz all their own. But they were just getting started. 2004 put He Is Legend on the map and on the move. In June, the five North Carolina natives released their debut EP, 91025 with Tribunal Records, a label most noted for helping launch the careers of bands like Atreyu and From Autumn to Ashes. The release received rave reviews, stirring the anticipation even further for He Is Legend's debut full-length album, I Am Hollywood, released November 2nd, 2004.
