Eileen Lyrics

Eileen, won't you lean on me
This is no life living here without you
This is no way for me to get alone
Now that I know I'm no good without you
Eileen, EileenEileen, won't you lean on me, please
How much I had baby, when I had you
I'm destitute this way
I'm doing time living here without you
Eileen, Eileen, Eileen, EileenEileen, no I'm coming clean
I guess no substitute will do, yeah
What do I do baby, to impress you
Now that I'm blown and thrown out the way
Eileen, EileenEileen, you can lean on me
Baby, I'm dead in a cruel world without you
Eileen, lean on me, lean on me
Lean on me, lean on me, lean on meBaby, won't you lean on me
Baby, won't you lean on me
Baby, won't you lean on me

Baby, won't you lean on me

Keith Richards (born 18 December 1943 in Dartford, Kent), is an English guitarist and songwriter, best known for his work with The Rolling Stones. Richards has played guitar on releases by Chuck Berry, Max Romeo, Hubert Sumlin, Les Paul, Tom Waits, Bono and The Edge of U2, Nona Hendryx, John Phillips and Aretha Franklin. He was first known to the public as Keith Richard because Andrew Loog Oldham, the first manager of the Stones, removed the "s" to resemble the name of popstar Cliff Richard; Richards later restored the "s" to his surname.
