El Libro - Momposonica

Momposonica was a Latino American alternative rock band that combines punk, pop, latin percussion and electronic music, formed in New Jersey, United States in 2003. The original lineup consisted of singer Luis Garcia, drummer Martin Quintero, bassist Alessandro Rueda, guitarist Felipe Taborda and percussionist David Pinto, all five original members hail from Colombia. In early 2008, Momposonica split up. They reformed as a four-piece band in 2009, with Colombian bassist Mauricio Molina and Salvadoran singer-songwriter Carolina Craig.
