Senario is a popular comedian group from Malaysia. It was formed in 1996 combining seven contestants from Sinaran Pasport Kegemilangan TV3. Early members were: Wahid, Lan Pet Pet, Azlee Jaafar, Farouk Hussein, Shamsul Ghau Ghau, Ilya, and Hamdan. The name was invented by Farouk, as they have been calling themselves "senang riuh" (pretty frenetic) thus changed into Senario. They made their debut tv show for the sitcom "Senario" on June, 1996 which was undoubtedly a success show attracting many audience and fans of all ages.
