Eleanor Lyrics

Fine, I understand okay with me
If that's the plan you can take the stereo
The TV and the video, the bed, the sheets
And pillows before you go
But for now unlock the door
What are we doing on this floor?
Let me make you dinner one last time
And you'll go your way and I'll go mine
And I won't call you baby anymore
Won't call you baby like I did before
Won't call you baby anymore, Eleanor
You left your smell, you left your taste
You left me here with my mistakes
And I can't relate to what you say I've done
But just for you I'll bite my tongue
And I won't call you baby anymore
Won't call you baby like I did before

Won't call you baby anymore
Eleanor, I miss you, Eleanor, be well
Eleanor, I wish you, release me from your spell
Come on, Elanor, do it, you can do it
And I can't call you baby anymore
Won't call you baby like I did before
Won't call you baby anymore, Eleanor
No, I can't call you baby anymore
Won't call you baby like I did before
Won't call you baby anymore, Eleanor

Dan Ar Braz, born Daniel Le Bras (15 January 1949, Quimper, Brittany), is a French (Breton) guitarist and the founder of Dan Ar Braz et l'Héritage des Celtes. He collaborated with the famous breton harpist Alan Stivell at his debut. In 1972 he formed his own group called Mor. Compared to Stivell's group, this was middle-of-the-road (MOR) and broke up shortly after recording one album. Ar Braz followed this with a solo album of Irish jigs and reels but this was not commercially successful. In 1976 he relocated to England and joined Fairport Convention for a while.
