Electric Trains Lyrics

[electric trains, electric trains]
[electric trains, electric trains]
[electric trains, electric trains]
[electric trains, electric trains]
you know I, I think it started in the cinema
after an hour with you in the dark
but then you went away
and now, my sister's having babies
while I'm just sat here being lazy
but honey everything's OK
(You and I, are held together by electric tains)
we're getting closer
(You and I, are held together by a bigger brain)
you've won me over
[electric trains, electric trains]
[electric trains, electric trains]

You know I, I sometimes get up with the milkmen
whenever you go home again, I can't seem to relax
and sometimes, when I'm feeling like a has been
like I could run off with the net ball team
you always seem to bring me back
(You and I, are held together by electric tains)
we're getting closer
(You and I, are held together by a bigger brain)
you've won me over
[electric trains, electric trains]
[electric trains, electric trains]
Oh they're pulling me through, they bring me close to you
I'm starting to slide
(I'm coming back)
hrough the countryside to you
(I'm back on track)
(You and I, are held together by electric tains)
they keep on coming
(You and I, are held together by a bigger brain)
just keep...
[electric trains, electric trains]
[electric trains, electric trains]
...

The inspiration for the bands name comes from Leo Baxendale, who was a famous british comic illustrator. Baxendale plays very catchy, groovy euro synth pop, simple but very effective. A reference point would be Pet Shop Boys, maybe. Consisting of singer and synth player Tim Benton , fellow vocalist and keyboardist Senay Sargut, and guitarist Alexander Mayor, the three-piece collected its various efforts onto a debut collection in 2000 "You Will Have Your Revenge", released in America by the like-minded souls at Le Grand Magistery.
