Neato Lyrics

[Hello. You are listening to the songs of Baxendale. This is Neato]
I don't know what to say
You used to act so far away
But recently this you and me thing has started slipping in to place
I've never been the type
to fall for girls at second sight
But here we are again playing console games until it's getting light
You're never gonna beat my highest score
but now I feel there's something more worth waiting for
and as your fingers take control there's so much more I want to know
'cause you're so-oh
[neato, neato]
I've seen you in my dreams
in virtual reality
this is so much better, baby, what the hell is happening to me

It's just the colors in your eyes
the concentration on your face
and in the ?? you look just like some kind of hero from outerspace, yeah
You're never gonna beat my highest score
but now I feel there's something more worth waiting for
and as your fingers take control there's so much more I want to know
'cause you're so-oh
[neato, neato]
[neato, neato]
.
Yeah, but now you've gone and beat my highest score
but somehow I just don't seem to care anymore
It's getting light but please don't go
I think there's something you should know
You're so-oh
[neato, neato]
[neato, neato]
[neato, neato]
[neato, neato]

The inspiration for the bands name comes from Leo Baxendale, who was a famous british comic illustrator. Baxendale plays very catchy, groovy euro synth pop, simple but very effective. A reference point would be Pet Shop Boys, maybe. Consisting of singer and synth player Tim Benton , fellow vocalist and keyboardist Senay Sargut, and guitarist Alexander Mayor, the three-piece collected its various efforts onto a debut collection in 2000 "You Will Have Your Revenge", released in America by the like-minded souls at Le Grand Magistery.
