"Ninja Scroll" is a Japanese anime released in 1993. The film is directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri, who is also known for such films as "Wicked City" (1987), "Goku Midnight Eye" (1989), "Vampire Hunter D" (2000), "Highlander: The Search for Vengeance" (2007), and the segment "Program" (2003) from the "Animatrix". Ninja Scroll is set in feudal Japan, and showcases a mix of action, adventure and romance, with beautiful animation and a powerful score but famous anime composer Kaoru Wada.
