Erase You Lyrics

[Verse 1]
It's been a minute since I've seen you
And I've been trying to forget you
I know without you I'm a better man
But there's just one thing that I don't understand[Hook]
Give me a sign, did you really love me?
Give me a sign, did you really care?
Telling you why, for why did you leave me?
Telling you why, why weren't you[Chorus:]
I gave you more than my love, how could you break my heart?
I gave you more than I trust, how could you break my word?
I guess I wasn't enough, how could you break my heart?
How could you break my heart?
I gotta erase you, erase you, erase you
I gotta erase you, erase you, erase you
I gonna erase you, erase you, erase you
I gonna erase you, gonna put you out of my head[Verse 2]
All the times that we spent

All the love that we shared
I know, we can't, go back to how we used to be
'Cause it's, too late, our love has disappearedGive me a sign, did you really love me?
Give me a sign, did you really care?
Telling you why, for why did you leave me?
Telling you why, why weren't youI gave you more than my love, how could you break my heart?
I gave you more than I trust, how could you break my word?
I guess I wasn't enough, how could you break my heart?
How could you break my heart?
I gotta erase you, erase you, erase you
I gotta erase you, erase you, erase you
I gonna erase you, erase you, erase you
I gonna erase you, gonna put you out of my head[Bridge]
My girl, my friend, my lover
But now, was just a number
I should've known from the start
That you'd go breakin' my heart
'Cause' girl it's already hard just to love youI gave you more than my love, how could you break my heart?
I gave you more than I trust, how could you break my word?
I guess I wasn't enough, how could you break my heart?
How could you break my heart?
I gotta erase you
Erase ya, erase ya, erase ya
