Everlasting God Lyrics

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the LordOur God, You reign forever
Our hope, our strong delivererYou are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow wearyYou're the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eaglesStrength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the LordOur God, You reign forever
Our hope, our strong delivererYou are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow wearyYou're the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need

You lift us up on wings like eaglesYou are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
The everlasting God
The everlastingStrength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
(You are the everlasting God)
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
(The everlasting God)
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
(The everlasting God)
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
(The everlasting)(You are the everlasting God)
Everlasting God
(The everlasting God)
I will wait upon the Lord
(The everlasting God)
Rise up on wings like eagles
(The everlasting)The Lord is the everlasting God
The Creator of all the Earth
He never grows weak or weary
No one can measure the depths of His understandingHe gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless
Even youths will become weak and tired
And young men will fall in exhaustion
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strengthThey will soar high on wings like eagles
They will run and not grow weary
They will walk and not faint

Brewster has been musically inclined since his early childhood in Homer, Alaska. At the age of one, his mother, Cheryl, noticed how well he could keep rhythm on a drum set his grandfather had given him. At the age of five, his mother introduced him to the mandolin. Quickly mastering the instrument, he began playing for cruise ship tourists alongside his mother in Homer, Alaska. After receiving a call from Steve Perry inviting him to audition as lead guitarist for his next solo project, For the Love of Strange Medicine, Brewster accepted and began songwriting and rehearsals for the album.
