Every Night And Every Day Lyrics

Every night I can play it
Every day I can say it
Oh, if I cry I won't delay it
Every night and every dayI guess I'm living for the moment
I guess you're loving for today
Yeah, here is where we're going
Or are we going to stay?
Oh, really need you more than want you
But I still want you to stayEvery night I can play it
Every day I can say it
(every night and every day)
Oh, if I cry I won't delay it
Every night and every dayIs your today really taking?
My today is really breaking
(every night and every day)
Is that my heart that keeps on aching
Or will it fade away?
(every night and every day)

Oh, will I see you again tomorrow
Every night and every dayWhat if we leave our past
Hoping these lonely nights won't last?
Tired of the same old lies
In the key of lifeI could be waiting for an hour
I could be waiting half a day
I really need you more than want you
But you really know that anyway
Some days I love you more than others, yeah
Some others I just want a day?Every night I can play it
Every day I can say it
(every night and every day)
Oh, if I cry I won't delay it
Every night and every dayIs your today really taking?
My today is really breaking
(every night and every day)
Is that my heart that keeps on aching
Or will it fade away?
(every night and every day)
Oh, will I see you again tomorrow
Every night and every dayWhat if we leave our past
Hoping these lonely nights won't last?
Tired of the same old lies
In the key of life
In the key of life
In the key of life
In the key of life

Samuel Gene Maghett Magic Sam (1937.02.14/Grenada, MS – 1969.12.01/Chicago, IL) was generally acknowledged as among the most brilliant of the young up-and-coming guitarists on a crowded Chicago blues scene in the 1950s and 1960s. Along with players like Otis Rush and Buddy Guy, Magic Sam helped introduce a more modern sound on electric guitar to the blues. He also was a gifted, expressive singer who was certainly capable of producing music with crossover appeal, much as B.B. King had done.
