Everyone Lyrics

How was I to know you'd ever leave?
And how was I to know you cared for me?
When every time I looked at you
You acted like I was a fool
How was I to know the truth?
With all the times you ran away
I never thought that you would say
"I'm the one who's lonely now"
And all the times I never said, "I love you"
Now you're in the bed with somebody and everyone else
How was I to know that I was wrong?
When I was talking during your favorite song
And how was I to know that I was right?
When I caught you in your lies the other night
With all the times you ran away
I never thought that you would say
"I'm the one who's lonely now"
And all the times I never said, "I love you"

Now you're in the bed with somebody and everyone else
Everyone, yeah
Everyone, yeah
Everyone, yeah
With somebody and everyone else
But somehow I know
That we're gonna be alright
But somehow I know
That we're gonna be fine
How was I to know that I was wrong?
When I was talking during your favorite song
With all the times you ran away
I never thought that you would say
"I'm the one who's lonely now"
And all the times I never said, "I love you"
Now you're in the bed with somebody and everyone else
Everyone, yeah
Everyone, yeah
Everyone, yeah
With somebody and everyone else
Everyone, yeah
Everyone, yeah
Everyone, yeah
With somebody and everyone else

Socialburn originated in the mid-'90s around high-school pals Neil Alday (vocals/guitar), Dusty Price (bass), and Brandon Bittner (drums). After forming on the fly in their tiny central Florida hometown, the group expanded into the scene in nearby Tallahassee. Listeners took a liking to their straightforward post-grunge growl, and Socialburn was soon a hit at local radio. By 2000, guitarist Chris Cobb had been added and a self-released CD had dropped. SB branched out with gigs in Jacksonville and Orlando, hoping to generate label interest in an area already buzzing with the success of Creed.
