Speak Now Lyrics

Speak now or forever hold your peace
Life's too short so would you walk with me
You're too scared to say what you need from me
When I need you to speak now or forever hold
Your arms around me, I can see the sun
But it's fading out, it's fading out, it's fading out
And you swore that you would change
So what happens now is what happens now
And I swore, I'd rearrange
And make time for us have we lost all trust
Speak now or forever hold your tongue
When your mouth is dry, my bodies numb
You're too scared to say what you need from me
When I need you to speak now or forever hold
Your arms around me, I can see the sun
But it's fading out, it's fading out, it's fading out
When you swore that you would change
So what happens now is what happens now

And I swore, I'd rearrange
And make time for us have we lost all trust
(Speak now or forever hold your peace)
And I swore that I would change
(Speak now or forever hold your peace)
And I swore that I would change
(Speak now or forever hold your peace)
And I swore that I would change for you
With arms around me, I can see the sun
But it's fading out, it's fading out, it's fading out
When you swore that you would change
So what happens now is what happens now
And I swore, I'd rearrange
And make time for us, have we lost all trust
(Speak now or forever hold your peace)
And I swore that I would change
(Speak now or forever hold your peace)
And I swore that I would change
(Speak now or forever hold your peace)
And I swore that I would change for you
(Speak now or forever hold your peace)
And I swore that I would change
(Speak now or forever hold your peace)
And I swore that I would change
(Speak now or forever hold your peace)
And I swore that I would change for you
Speak now or forever hold your

Socialburn originated in the mid-'90s around high-school pals Neil Alday (vocals/guitar), Dusty Price (bass), and Brandon Bittner (drums). After forming on the fly in their tiny central Florida hometown, the group expanded into the scene in nearby Tallahassee. Listeners took a liking to their straightforward post-grunge growl, and Socialburn was soon a hit at local radio. By 2000, guitarist Chris Cobb had been added and a self-released CD had dropped. SB branched out with gigs in Jacksonville and Orlando, hoping to generate label interest in an area already buzzing with the success of Creed.
