Scruffy the Cat

A Boston MA based band in the early to late 80's who achieved a modicum of success on the college rock circuit in their day with an alt-country americana style sound. Fronted by Charlie Chesterman, their first vinyl appearance was on a 1984 Throbbing Lobster record label compilation, followed by a few singles, comp appearances, EPs and their two full-length LPs released on the Relativity label.
