Exile Lyrics

I heard it in my sleep
A voice more dead than old
I thought I'd known the fear
But then it touched my soul and said
Aah, you will pray for me
Aah, bow your head to me
It came for me at night
And took me dream by dream
To where everything is dark
And no one hears you scream
Took everything I loved
And turned love into pain
It said, "I'm the prophecy
And I'll make you believe in me"
Aah, sacrifice for me
Aah, be humility
Well, it said, "I'll make everyone pay”
Well it said, “I'll make everyone pay”

Some things you can't forget
I'll make everyone pay
Some things you can't forgive
I'll make everyone pay
And so it comes to this
Death or eternity?
Or would you like to pay
For all humanity?
Do you believe in faith?
Than choose heaven or hell or me?
A shadow on the sane
The final treachery of God
Aah, you will kneel for me
Aah, lose your eyes for me
Aah, betray the world for me
Aah, burn your soul for me
Well, it said, "I'll make everyone pay”
Well, it said, “I'll make everyone pay”
Some things you can't forget
I'll make everyone pay
Some things you can't forgive
I'll make everyone pay

Soda Inc. is a cooperation by Babak Shayan and Jon Silva, them being the label heads of Shayan Music and Pesto. The music of Soda Inc. quotes from different genres such as DeepHouse, Trance and Acid - all being melted with musical influences and personal preferences of the two producers.

The two guys met in 2001 and have since then been working on several projects such as "Basil" (remixes for Monsieur Charles besides other releases) or the highly acclaimed Bar1 compilation series.

Their first longplayer "Full Moon" was quite much appreciated on an international basis, making Soda Inc. a demanded DJ team travelling across Europe. One of the leading german mags "Groove" described them as being innovators and inventors in style - being one of the pioneers in the "NeoTrance" genre.
Soda Inc.'s music, in fact, goes far beyond that. Besides delivering different sorts of dance beats, their music bears traces of Reggae, Dub and HipHop while still Babak's persian roots can be identified on certain tracks.

On their follow up album "Inner Vision" that will be released on Plastic City this summer, Soda Inc. are following that lead from their debut. A mix of genres and influences, now being enriched by features of several other performers.
Next to energetic Tribal tracks, you will find a coop with cult tabla band "TablaSonic" from Bombay and classic TechHouse tunes. Amazing vocal performances are delivered by MC Trixx (aka Patrick Anthony, who used to play the trumpet for UB40 and the Ray Charles band) from Jamaica, rising talent Erica Blanchard from Canada, Babak Shayan and Jon Silva themselves.

Besides being hard-working studio-heads, Babak and Jon are also busy travelling around. They are rocking crowds with their intense DJ sets but also with their live acts. Forming a band of up to four people, Soda Inc. live consists of the two masterminds, MC Trixx and brazilian percussion player Benji, who could be seen in Michael Jackson's "They don't really care about us" video.

To say it with the words of Groove's Joachim Ditschler one more time: "this summer will be Soda Inc.'s".
