Explanation Lyrics

It's over now
Cause you haven't called
And maybe I said something
And that's all my fault
I need a reason, a reason why
I don't feel right
And I'm up all night
And I know that you don't really care what I have to say
I'm really more concered with what's on your mind anyway
I'm looking for an explanation
I've been waiting but you haven't said anything
Friends are holding back the information
I'm just wondering will I ever get to see you again
Yeah Yeah Yeah
Ever get to see you again
I don't know well
I could waste my time
On such an evil girl who's

Messing up my life
Give me a reason, a reason why
I don't feel right
and I'm up all night
And I know that you don't really care what I have to say
I'm really more concered with what's on your mind anyway
I'm looking for an explanation
I've been waiting but you haven't said anything
Friends are holding back the information
I'm just wondering will I ever get to see you again
Yeah Yeah Yeah
Ever get to see you again
I think you're the cyst
I finally made my list
Always thought that you had my back
Now you're giving me a heart attack
Everything you said to me
Everything that you told me
So hard to accept the fact
But I know you're never coming back
Coming back
I'm looking for an explanation
I'm looking for an explanation
I've been waiting but you haven't said anything
Friends are holding back the information
I'm just wondering will I ever get to see you again
Yeah Yeah Yeah
Ever get to see you again

Sons of Ishmael, Toronto’s all-boy hardcore punk band, emerged in 1985 from the town of Meaford, Ontario (population 4400) as a reaction to small-town decadence. In June of that year the band released a 13-song 7” entitled “Hayseed Hardcore” which gained them notoriety and rave reviews in such magazines as Thrasher and MaximumRocknRoll. The first pressing sold out in 3-months.
