Failing Lyrics

Yea...
Like a thread of the darkest clouds rolling in on a sunny day
Yea...
Like a field that has no rain
Yea...
Like a dog that wanders aimless with no name
Yea...
Like a cut without the painYea....
You couldn't feel life
You couldn't take the pain
Yea....
You couldn't live lifeAnd I'm just trying to get through to you
But I am failing
Lie like I'm not even here
My heart is breaking
Trying to see through your stare
Looks right through me
Smile and pretend I'm not there

To keep from going crazyYea...
Like the day that your guardian angel decided to fly away
Yea...
Like a bruise that doesn't fade
Yea...
Like a memory that tortures your soul until your dying day
Yea...
Like a life you couldn't saveYea....
You couldn't feel love
You couldn't take the pain
You couldn't let loveAnd I'm just trying to get through to you
But I am failing
Lie like I'm not even here
My heart is breaking
Trying to see through your stare
Looks right through me
Smile and pretend I'm not there
To keep from going crazyI tried to...
Get through to you
I tried to...
I tried...
I tried to...
Get through to you
I tried to...
And...I'm still trying to get through to you
But I am failing
Lie like I'm not even here
My heart is breaking
Trying to see through your stare
It looks right through me
Smile and pretend I'm not there
To keep from going crazyI tried to...
Get through to you
I tried to...I tried to...
Get through to you
I tried to...
Get throughI tried to...
Get through to you
I tried to...
