Idlefon is Hesam Ohadi, a computer musician and sound artist based in Tehran, Iran. He gravitated toward creating electronic music in 2006 after experimenting with various styles of rock and metal music as a drummer. Hesam created a soundtrack for Arash Radkia’s animated short film ‘The Radiologist’s Room‘ in 2009 and released a track on ‘Ear 5‘, a compilation CD on Mahriz Records. The connection with Mahriz Records led to a split album in 2010 titled ‘Spotty Surfaces‘ which featured fellow electronic musicians Siavash Amini and Nima Pourkarimi aka Umchunga.
