Faithless Lyrics

Here tonight and gone tomorrow,
Now I'm coming back down again,
The truths a bitter pill to swallow,
Did I really mean all the things I'd said?
I guess I never realised,
That the story had three sides,
Never realised,
'Til I saw you in the sunlight,
And you leave me falling.
Faithless, we've taken it too far,
And the guilt weighs heavy on my heart,
What they don't know still hurts somehow,
And it's running away with my concience now,
Love, I shouldn't have let you down.
The moment lay a path to follow,
And took it all the way,
I stole, I lied, I begged and borrowed,
Don't let it come 'round again.

I guess I never realised,
That the story had three sides,
Never realised,
'Til I saw you in the sunlight,
And you leave me falling.
Faithless, we've taken it too far,
And the guilt weighs heavy on my heart,
What they don't know still hurts somehow,
And it's running away with my concience now,
Love, I shouldn't have let you down.
All the bridges that I burned,
All the lessons that I learned,
All the tabled that I turned,
Have left me falling.
Faithless, we've taken it too far,
And the guilt weighs heavy on my heart,
What they don't know still hurts somehow,
And it's running away with my concience now,
Love, I shouldn't have let you down.
I'm faithless, we've taken it too far,
And the guilt weighs heavy on my heart,
What they don't know still hurts somehow,
And it's running away with my concience now,
Love, I shouldn't have let you down.

There are at least five artists on last.fm by the name Jawbone: 1. Jawbone is the pseudonym of Bob Zabor, an American blues musician from Detroit. Jawbone ain't a virtuoso, he is a one man band, think raw blues, trash, harmonica fueled adrenaline pumped, think Hasil Adkins, Doo Rag, The Oblivians. The instruments he plays include the harmonica, the guitar and the tambourine. He deliberately aims for a lo-fi sound, akin to early blues recordings. He is steadily gaining cult popularity in the UK thanks to appearing on the John Peel show, and also being included on various magazine CDs there.
