No talk of love between us
Some things better left unsaid
Talk of the plans move through my head
Through my headNo talk of tears and pain
It's been so long
I really don't know your name
It's the rules of the gameWheels keep a turning 'round and 'round
Years keep spinning 'round and 'round
No words assured without a trace like the shadows in the sun
No room for fools who rush, it's all been doneYou've got new friend in new pools
And you know they're putting troubles to the vote
Tired eyes slow dance in the sunlight
It's all a jokeWheels keep spinning 'round and 'round
Years keep spinning 'round and 'round
With the passing of your time, though you seldom come to mind
I remember the daySure as winter follows fall
Sure as maybe I will call just remember the dayFar off the hazy day, long gone the lingering gray
Chill winds blow cold around the fire's glow
Farewell the call to arms, release the captive heart
Time's keeper clouds the skyline on the last resortWheels keep spinning 'round and 'round
Years keep spinning 'round and 'round
With the passing of your time, though you seldom come to mind
I remember the daySure as winter follows fall
Sure as maybe I will call just remember the day

Songwriters
PLANT, ROBERT A/BLUNT, ROBBIE/WOODROFFE, JEZZPublished by
Lyrics © Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLCLyrics provided by TANCODEhttps://damnlyrics.com/" readonly=""/>

Far Post (12" Single) Lyrics

Robert Anthony Plant CBE (born 20 August 1948, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England) is a British rock singer famous for being the lead vocalist of one of the most influential rock bands of all time: Led Zeppelin. He is known for his powerful style with a wide vocal range. After Led Zeppelin's breakup following the sudden death of drummer John Bonham in 1980, Plant pursued a successful solo career. Popular tracks from this period include "Big Log," "Tall Cool One," and "I Believe." In 1984, Plant formed a short-lived all-star group with Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Phil Collins called The Honeydrippers, who had a Top Ten hit with a remake of the Phil Phillips' tune, "Sea of Love".

Plant's love of the music of Morocco led him to a new collaboration called Robert Plant And The Strange Sensation. The band's releases met with critical acclaim and numerous Grammy nominations. They completed the 2006 tour of Europe in September.

In 2007, Plant began recording and performing with bluegrass star Alison Krauss. A duet album, Raising Sand, was released on 23 October 2007 on Rounder Records. The album, recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by T-Bone Burnett met with enormous critical and commercial success.

The year of 2010 proves to be yet another successful year for the aging lemon squeezer. Durring the summer, Plant will be reuniting with his old, Pre-Zep group, The Band Of Joy, for a tour of the southern and mid continental tour of the US.
