Favorite Son - Favorite Son

AKA Favourite Son, uno.matteo, the Artist formerly known as Matty Oka. :) At the urging of my parents, I studied piano from age 7. Back then, they had no idea it would impact my life so strongly. I never became a piano virtuoso, but developed a strong desire to be a performer and musician. In 1985, seeing Live Aid cemented those desires for me, seeing bands like U2, INXS and Simple Minds performing for huge audiences on TV. Live Aid wasn’t just a rock concert - it was for a very important cause - and this experience helped shape my appreciation of music’s power to change people.
