Feel So Bad Lyrics

If you feel so bad
Why don't you just give it up?
If its hard on you now
Then it won't let up
Hand me down my cigarettes
I'm drunk but I ain't drinking no more
Help me fight my way down through the hall
Redirect my sympathies
I tripped, I fell and lost them
Somewhere in between my outstretched arm
And the wall
And it makes me feel weak
To say the least
Beneath these dusty streets
We show more
Make me feel like less and less of a man
If you feel so bad
Why don't you just give it up?

If its hard on you now
Then it won't let up
Maybe you just had enough
Or maybe you've been trying too hard
Maybe no one ever let you down
In the end there's you and me
Don't trip, don't get lost, I'm right here
Waiting 'til you come back down to the earth
So if you feel so bad
Why don't you just give it up?
If it's hard on you now
Then it won't let up
Ah yeah
You don't need to please me
You don't need to be uneasy
I've been too long gone for you to save me
Now
So if you feel so bad
Why don't you just give it up?
If it's hard on you now
Then it won't let up
If you feel so bad
And if you feel so bad
Yeah, well if you feel so bad
Yeah, well if you feel so bad

Otis Rush (born April 29, 1935 in Philadelphia, Mississippi) is maybe the greatest guitar king ever to make chicago blues. He is also well known for his electrifying voice and for being one of the first baritones to reach popularity in the blues industry. Rush uses his great voice to deliver his songs with plenty of experience and pure emotion. Otis Rush was born in 1935 as one of seven children. Rush worked in the fields to help his mother in his younger days. Otis, along with his other brothers and sisters, had to support each other without the help from a father figure.
