Feelings Lyrics

Living in hindsight, I fought along, she said
Like an old maid with troubles hanging in her head
You've been flying like a bird with no wings
But you stay afloat like a bubble without stringsPeople keep on taking the ground from your feet
You are the only one playing hide and seek
Forever you go on, you're stealing my ideas
And this old maid, she won't wipe away my tearsAnd when you go you save my soul
Tell my boy I love him so
And when you stay you save my soul
And you can tell my boy that I love him soWith all my feeling
With all my feeling
With all my feeling
With all my feelingAnd I will take over
What is the worst thing that could happen?
You've been carving like a hand with no knife
Trying to mend all the trouble and strifePeople keep on taking the ground from your feet
You are the only one playing hide and seek
Forever you go on, you're stealing my ideas

And this old maid, she won't wipe away my tearsAnd when you go you save my soul
Tell my boy I love him so
And when you stay you save my soul
And you can tell my boy that I love him soAnd when you stay you save my soul
And you can tell my boy that I love him so
And when you stay you save my soul
And you can tell my boy that I love him soWith all my feeling
With all my feeling
With all my feeling
With all my feeling

Singer Hannah Reid and guitarist Dan Rothman met in the dorms of Nottingham University where they began writing music together in 2009. They later added multi-instrumentalist Dot Major to complete the London Grammar line-up. Their popularity rose with the 2012 release of "Hey Now" which they uploaded to the internet and instantly found an online cult following. Their self-released 2013 debut EP "Metal & Dust" reached the Top 5 of the iTunes chart. The same year they signed to Ministry of Sound and the single "Wasting My Young Years" appeared as the first release on the label.
