Uhm Jung Hwa (b. 엄정화, 17 Aug 1971, in South Korea). She is a singer & actress best known for her roles in the films Marriage is a Crazy Thing (which earned her a Best Actress Award at the Baeksang Arts Awards), My Lovely Week and Princess Aurora. Singer and actor Uhm Tae Woong is her younger brother. As a singer she's recognized as the Gayo Icon in 90's Korean Pop culture. Known as the "sexy queen", and is currently with Trifecta Entertainment. She is one of the most successful female artists in Korean pop history.

She has released nine albums, the latest being "Prestige" (Oct '06).
