Fight For Me Tonight Lyrics

When I went on the scene, a little clubbin' with my girls
And I'm a be, looking for trouble
Gonna let it down and I'm a see, what I can do
Cause I need a man, is it you?
You're looking pretty neat 'cross the dance floor
I see you smilin', so you know what I'm gonna ask for
You walk on over, and when the time is right I get approached by a male friend
Well I said, "Hey, you giving up so easily?
A little competition and you're gonna run away?
I'm yours if you like, you gotta fight for me tonight, fight for me tonight."
Fight for me tonight.
It's after the show, the party's jumping and the fun starts to flow
This meet and greet has got me thinking I need more
I turn the corner and there you are
Opportunity in your backyard

It's hard for me to think with this crowd around
I love my friends, but I really need to wind it down
You would want it too, but you don't know what to do
Come on son, do I gotta to spell it out for you?
Well I said, "Hey, you giving up so easily?
A little competition and you're gonna run away?
I'm yours if you like, you gotta fight for me tonight, fight for me tonight."
Fight for me tonight
If something gets in your way, why you gonna give up so soon? (3x)
Umm...
With all that's going on in the world and the pressures of today
Why let a little competition get you out of the game?
I don't like seeing blood, and that don't mean you have to scratch
But just fight for me tonight
Hey (hey)
I said hey (hey)
Well I said hey (hey)
Oh oh oh oh oh
I said, "Hey, why you giving up so easily?
A little competition and you're gonna run away?
I'm yours if you like, you gotta fight for me tonight, fight for me tonight."
