Fool for You Lyrics

(steve walwyn)I've been working every day tryin' to make a penny or two
I've been breaking my back workin' the whole week through
But I wouldn't mind if I had to work the weekend too(I tell you why)
I'm just a fool for you honey
Nobody else but you
You make a fool of me honey
Nobody does it like you
You've got to look me in the eye
I'm just a fool for youYou make me weak in the knees
I shiver from my top to my toes
I've got an aching head
Tears runnin' down my nose
You've got a hold of me honey
Ain't that the way it goes(I tell you why)
I'm just a fool for you honey
Nobody else but you
You make a fool of me honey
Nobody does it like you

You've got to look me in the eye
I'm just a fool for you- guitar solo -Well I know that you think it's a game
Don't you think it's a shame
I get a shiver through all my frame
Every time you call my nameWell I went to the doctor, he told me straight to my face
I went to the doctor, he said 'you ain't got no case'
He wouldn't give me no prescription
He said 'you've come to the wrong place'(I tell you why)
I'm just a fool for you honey
Nobody else but you
You make a fool of me honey
Nobody does it like you
You've got to look me in the eye
I'm just a fool for youI'm just a fool for you honey
Nobody else but you
You make a fool of me honey
Nobody does it like you
You've got to look me in the eye
I'm just a fool for you- guitar outro -

Dr. Feelgood are a British pub rock band, formed in 1971. The classic line-up included Lee Brilleaux (b. 1953, d. 7 April 1994; vocals/harmonica), Wilko Johnson (b. John Wilkinson, 1947; guitar), John B. Sparks (b. 1953; bass) and John 'The Big Figure' Martin (drums). Initially based in Canvey Island, Essex, on the Thames estuary, Dr. Feelgood broke into the London circuit in 1974. Brilleaux's menacing personality complemented Johnson's propulsive, jerky stage manner, while the guitarist's staccato style dominated the group's idiosyncratic brand of angular rhythm and blues.
